REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

This Refunds & Cancellations Policy applies to all services provided by spirit light, including psychic readings, intuitive guidance, mediumship sessions, email readings, and Zoom sessions.

1. Booking & Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.

2. Cancellations by the Client
To respect your time and ours, the following applies:
• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment may be rescheduled or credited towards a future session.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may result in the session fee being forfeited.
No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will forfeit the full session fee, with no refund or credit issued.

3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance will be accommodated where possible.
Rescheduling within 24 hours may be treated as a cancellation and subject to forfeiture of the session fee.
Repeated last-minute changes may result in requirements or declined future bookings.

4. Refunds for Completed Services
Because psychic and intuitive readings are time-based and experiential, refunds are generally not provided once a session has been completed.
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you may be entitled to a remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill. If you have concerns about your session, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe so we can discuss the matter.

5. Emailed Readings
Emailed readings are delivered within the advertised timeframe (e.g., within 7 days).
• Refunds are not available once work has commenced.
• If delivery is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified with a new expected timeframe.
• In the rare event a reading cannot be delivered, a refund or credit will be issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

6. Cancellations by spirit light
If we need to cancel or postpone due to illness, emergencies, technical issues, or unexpected circumstances, you will be offered:
• a new appointment time, or
• a refund or credit, as appropriate under the Australian Consumer Law.
We reserve the right to refuse service when safety, boundaries, or ethical considerations require it.

7. Late Arrival
If you arrive late to a session, your session may still need to end at the scheduled time, and the full fee will apply. Additional time cannot always be added.

8. Gift Certificates & Credits
Gift certificates and account credits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person unless otherwise stated. Expiry dates will be honoured in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
